Of The Aurora Lady |
| The Captain - Daniel Reed Brockman (Brock) |
Born into a rich and influential family, Brock's world was shattered when his father perished under mysterious circumstances and his inheritance was stolen by his father's trusted business assistant, Keith Overlinger. Left only with one aging cargo ship (The Aurora Lady) and a few hundred universals, Brock recruits a crew and sets off to build a new life. |
| The First Mate/Pilot - Ian Bryan Murphy |
Irish born Ian Murphy was born to be a pilot. Once a pilot for the UEF he renounced his commission when ordered to carry out a mission he considered unjust against one of the colonies. He later worked for the Brockman Freight Company where he met Brock. They became best friends and it was a natural transition for him to join Brock on his adventures aboard The Aurora Lady. |
| The Mechanic - Nova Nevels |
Born on a freighter, Nova is a natural mechanic. She spent her childhood following her uncle, a mechanic aboard Athena's Wisdom, around the freighter as he worked. By the time she was a teenager she could repair nearly anything. Her abilities are indispensable aboard the Lady. |
| The Weapons' Specialist - Oro Carlotta Fierro |
When young, blonde Oro initially met the captain and first mate they thought she was gorgeous but they both had their doubts about whether or not she could handle the job of Weapon's Specialist. Oro dispelled those thoughts quickly when she dazzled them with her knowledge and revealed her military background. |
| The Cook - Zahirah Sayar |
Zahirah, born into the Israeli culture, did her stint in the military but balked at her culture's tradition of marriage. The oldest child in a family that earned their living in the restaurant business she is as comfortable with a spatula as she is with a rifle in her hands. |
| The Quartermaster/Cargo Specialist - Patrick Sean Williams (Cowboy) |
Abandoned as a toddler, Cowboy has been a drifter all of his life. His easy going likeable personality and his way with the ladies has helped him eek out a living over his 23 years. Cowboy possesses a photographic memory which makes him a natural when it comes to taking care of The Aurora Lady's inventory. |
| The Doctor - Winter Green |
The doctor joined the crew under dramatic circumstances when she rushed in to treat Brock after he was injured during a fire fight. The doctor is a quiet, unassuming woman but she can really take charge in an emergency. She is known for her love of animals and is as comfortable on board ship as she is on land. |
| The Paymaster - Rose Melinda McWerter |
Rose, a cousin of the captain, also worked for the Brockman Freight Company until the demise of Brock's father. She's a plucky, tiny woman who is known to carry a derringer in her waistband. She knows her limitations but will fight to the death to save a shipmate if necessary. |
